The Palyul Clear Light project wishes to help people in the modern world find peace and a better life through the application of the wisdom of the Buddha to their own lives. This wisdom has continued unbroken for 2,500 years and at its heart teaches a creed of non- violence and compassion towards ourselves and all living beings.Buddhism explains that the mind is the root of good and bad, happiness and suffering, and that the only way to have a happy life is not through external circumstances but through a clear and aware mind.

We hope to make this wisdom available to touch and transform the hearts of people of all ages and walks of life. Under the guidance of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and with Khen Rinpoche Tsewang Gyatso's direction, we will undertake this intention step by step through the publication of sacred texts and related workshops and activities.

Our goal is to preserve and publish the teachings of living Nyingma masters, especially those of the Palyul lineage. While it is true that we can read the sutras of past centuries, we must depend on living masters to bring those teachings to life and help us understand them in light of current events. Thus, we need the masters' help to give a true realization of the authentic meaning of Buddha's teachings.
